A major wildfire spread through France’s Fontainebleau forest south of Paris during a heatwave, triggering a large emergency response and disrupting road and rail traffic.
Officials said France deployed two firefighting aircraft as crews worked to contain the blaze, which also forced partial closures of the A6 motorway during a busy holiday weekend.
